The Association of Kundalini Yoga Teachers of Ukraine has initiated cooperation with Indian yoga masters

On August 4, 2026, the international online workshop “Numero Yoga: Theory & Practice” was held for the Ukrainian yoga community by Yogacharya Ashok Dube Ji, an internationally recognized yoga teacher, yoga therapist, researcher, founder of Yogayam Wellness Pvt. Ltd. (India), and creator of the Numero Yoga method.

This workshop became the first joint international educational event held within the framework of the newly established cooperation between the Association of Kundalini Yoga Teachers of Ukraine and Indian yoga masters. Its aim was the professional exchange of knowledge and experience in the use of yoga to support people experiencing prolonged stress, psychological trauma, and the consequences of war.

The event was attended by yoga teachers, yoga therapists, psychologists, medical professionals, rehabilitation specialists, and researchers. Most participants work with military personnel, veterans, members of their families, and internally displaced persons.

During the workshop, Yogacharya Ashok Dube Ji presented the Numero Yoga method he developed, which combines traditional principles of yoga with modern knowledge about the functioning of the brain and nervous system. Participants learned about the theoretical foundations of the method, took part in a practical session, and discussed possibilities for applying it as a supportive tool in working with stress, anxiety, sleep disturbances, and other consequences of psycho-emotional strain.

Of particular value was the open professional discussion, during which Ukrainian specialists shared their own experience of working with people affected by the war and discussed possibilities for adapting certain elements of Numero Yoga to the Ukrainian context.

The Association of Kundalini Yoga Teachers of Ukraine regards this meeting as the beginning of long-term international cooperation aimed at knowledge exchange, the development of scientifically grounded approaches to yoga therapy, and support for people affected by the war.

We sincerely thank Yogacharya Ashok Dube for his openness, professionalism, and willingness to share his many years of experience with the Ukrainian community. We believe that this cooperation will become the foundation for new joint educational, research, and humanitarian initiatives.

We may know many techniques, meditate for years, and teach yoga. But it is communication that shows how deeply yoga has been integrated into our lives.
